Our position
Dayspring Centre has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to help ensure modern slavery is not taking place in our organisation or in connection with our services.
Our practices
- Safer recruitment, including identity and right-to-work checks
- Fair treatment of our workforce and clear reporting routes for concerns
- Awareness of the signs of exploitation among the people we support
- Working with statutory agencies where exploitation is suspected
Raising concerns
Anyone who suspects modern slavery or exploitation should raise it with us or, in an emergency, contact the police on 999. Concerns can also be reported to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
This statement will be reviewed and formally approved on an annual basis.
