Young Adult Support
Building Confidence for the Next Chapter
Moving from childhood into adulthood can bring exciting opportunities as well as new challenges. Dayspring Centre supports young adults to develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for adult life. Our emphasis is on strengths, abilities and aspirations — rather than defining young people by the support they require.
Support may include
- Independent living skills
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Budgeting and money awareness
- Personal organisation
- Education and training
- Preparing for employment, CV and interview preparation
- Community participation and travel confidence
- Social skills and building positive relationships
- Health and wellbeing, and developing routines
- Setting personal goals and building self-esteem
Person-centred support
Every person’s circumstances are different. We begin by asking:
- What matters to you?
- What can you do independently?
- Where would you like support?
- What would you like to achieve?
This helps us develop meaningful, outcome-focused support.
Where an individual’s needs involve activities subject to specific regulatory requirements, Dayspring Centre ensures that services are only provided within the scope of the organisation’s applicable registration and legal requirements.
